recognized vs recognised

is english english vs american english.

other one are correct though.

My apologies for being American-ignorant.

I tried checking to see if the file was one flavor (flavour) versus the other, but didn't see any signs so I went American (I should've recognized it wasn't a typo when I also saw Initialised).

Would it be proper to add an American (american.inc) internationalization to address this difference?

yes, considering the amount of differences, I think that's good idea. It's like Brazilian Portuguese and Portuguese Portuguese which we do have different files for.

have added the file "american.inc" to CVS, but as "usa.inc", as American is not considered correct :-)
(I live in America as well, but in South America)
