Summary0004044: problematic charset definition
Descriptioncharacter-set definitions for most languages for the interface include more than one charset (eg "iso-8859-1, windows-1252"). i'm not sure if this is valid at all, but it's problematic with firefox, as firefox falls back to utf8 encoding.

if i use special characters (german umlaut) für subject and footer, those characters are not correctly saved. it breaks my messages.

this problem does not occur in IE6.

solution: remove one of the two codepages (windows-1252) and it will work fine. again.

thanks for reporting that. Working only with english makes it hard to find things like this, so a bit of multilingual feedback is very useful
