Summary0003981: text after </html> increases SPAM score
DescriptionWhen a template contains </body></html> then the footer contents which contain html links meant that emails sent where sometimes triggering SPAM filters. One of the reasons was "text after html tags". I am not sure whether this is a matter of user education or perhaps the "</body></html>" tags should be removed automatically if they are mistakenly entered, or at least warned about them.

can you upgrade to 2.10.1 and see if that solves the problem?

I certainly still have an issue in 2.10.10. The adding of the signature is simply appended blindly onto the end of the template, separated with a
. Where a template includes the closing </body></html> this generates invalid html which is likely to trigger spam filters:

    <style type="text/css"><!--
.poweredphplist {font-family: arial, verdana, sans-serif;font-size : 10px; font-variant: small-caps; font-weight : normal; padding: 2px; padding-left:20px;}
a:visited.poweredphplist {font-family: Arial, verdana, sans-serif; font-size : 10px; font-variant: small-caps; font-weight : normal; color : #666666; text-align : center; text-decoration : none; padding: 2px;}
a:hover.poweredphplist {color : #7D7B7B;}
    <span class="poweredphplist">powered by v 2.10.10, ©</span>

Even if the signature were inserted befor the final </body> it is doubtful that the HTML would be valid as it includes an inline <style> element. The <style> element should not occur in the body of html, only in the head.
