Summary0003712: DB error when trying to view Blacklisted users + user 1-50 dont show in 2.9.5
DescriptionWhen trying to view "Show only Blacklisted User" under "users" I get this error:
---
Database error 1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'and blacklisted limit 50,50' at line 1
---

Also, the 1-50 users dont even show up. This happens when also just viewing users (no blacklisted selected).

After reading your solution to this on the forum ( http://www.phplist.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=10232#10232 [^] ) I checked and the the "blacklisted" column was already present in the "phplist_user_user" table.

I upgraded from 2.9.4

I did send a very large mailing out (22K users) using 2.9.5 and people seem to be able to unsubscribe (be blacklisted) successfully.

the fact that users 1-50 don't show up is correct. This has been changed, but you now need to add a search query to see any users (when you have a number of users higher than 1000. But I'm not sure what the database error is. Can you try to find out?

Hi Michiel,

The same database error was also reported by matteoz on the forum, in the same topic as i mentioned before. The solution you mentioned was trying to add "blackilsted" column to "phplist_user_user" which doesnt work since that column is alreadry present (before and after upgrading 2.9.4 to 2.9.5)

I am not sure how I can find out what the database error is being caused by. I havent been programming for years, so my DB skills are quite rusty ;)

About users 1-50 not showing up -- why has this been changed? Coz, lets say ther are less than 50 unconfirmed users that you want to remove.. how to even see them when user 1-50 wont even show up? I did try selecting different options (next to show unconfirmed users) from email, to bouncecount etc.. but nothing worked...

I also tried putting in some simple search thing, like 'a', in the Find a User search box but still nothing showed between 1-50. You have to click on the next arrow (50-100) for any results to show at all.

Perhaps you could pass this problem of the blacklisted users DB error to other bug reporters, who also can program, to help this issue along ;) . Just a suggestion.

The user 1-50 not showing up is a little worrisome though. I mean if its supposed to be a feature, then why do users 50-100 and so on, show up? It seems like a bug to me. :)

I love PHPlist. I have been using it for months and cannot even think about moving to another app. You have done an amazing job so far! :)

Yes, I agree, this sounds more like a bug, if you only get to see users when clicking the next arrow. I'll try to reproduce it and will revisit this.

oh and on the 1-50 issue, yes, I can see what you mean and I'll update that. It is likely to be related to the other issue.
