Summary0002881: HTML character entity encoding replacement
DescriptionI have noticed that when I try to send out HTML emails, some of the characters such as the registered trademark symbol show extraneous characters (i.e. gibberish) on certain email clients. I have tried replacing the actual character with the character entity reference (i.e. ® ) instead of the actual character. When I send a test email, this shows up fine in the client, but the program saves the html content and when the page redisplays it, all of the character entity references have been converted to the actual character. So then I'm back to where I started, not being able to use PHPList to send HTML emails with special characters. Why will it not just LEAVE the character entity reference alone?
Additional InformationFor example, if I put in this:

All-In-One® newsletter. All-In-One® is

and send a test email, I again see this:

All-In-OneĀ® newsletter. All-In-OneĀ® is

Which causes problems...

if you use ® or other html characters they will now re-appear as ® and not be replaced with the actual character in the box for the message.
