Summary0002432: Problem with headers - PHP version? Email body appearing encoded.

First off...A thank you for developing this. Excellent work!

The issue:
I have installed the most recent version of PHP list (2.8.12) and everything seems to work properly. However when the email is sent the body shows up as a bunch of encoded text. I have found similar issues in teh forum...but nothing that addresses this problem directly with a solution.

I have explored this issue with my hosting service and they suggested contacting you. They think it is an issue with how the headers are formed and current version of PHP. I'm not sure...I am pretty new here, so I'll explain the best I can.

Additional InformationMy goal is to be able to send plain text emails to all users.
I have tested this with all the text/html options available in PHP List and I still get the same issue. I also checked the emails is Thunderbird as well as Entourage. Mac OS X.

Thanks for the help.

Please try using the 2.9.3 version and see if that fixes the problem. Failing that, please send me an example email and I'll see if I can diagnoze something.

Please wait for the next release, 2.9.4, which hopefully will have a modification added that might help with this problem. See bug #2569.
