|Summary||0002380: hidden lists that are truly hidden from unsubscribing|
|Description||(unless this can be done some way, please someone tell me. ) |
I want to have several lists that I use for internal use only. Let's say I have a list of users that have bought a certain piece of software, and I want to use it to inform them of bug fixes or updates, and I DO NOT WANT THEM TO BE ABLE TO UNSUBSCRIBE. Meanwhile, I have other opt-in lists for other issues.
Or perhaps I have a "one-time use" hidden list I created specifically to mail a certain message to a certain group of users. Perhaps I would like to keep this list all set up, for possible use in the future, and not have it show up along with other lists when a user tries to unsubscribe from active lists.
Presently, it seems that if you give them the option to unsubscribe, the "hidden" lists will show up there along with the active ones, and they can take themselves off.
