|Summary||0019708: Add new statistic: % first time viewers|
|Description||When reviewing a campaigns' success it is useful to know what percentage of those subscribers which opened the campaign did so for the first time. If the open rate is unchanged from the last campaign sent, but a high percentage of the opens of the latest campaign were from people who have never opened one before, the the message has still reached an important audience. This is especially true if campaigns being sent have similar content to each other.|
An example: you are testing the effectiveness of different campaign subjects and want to see how many subscribers were moved to open the campaign, though they may have received previous campaigns.
Another example: if the campaigns have a one time call to action (like sign up), then recipients are unlikely to continue opening future campaigns as frequently as before they performed that CTA. If the open rate for camapaigns remains the same but due to new members of the recipient lists, then the campaigns are still being successful.
