|Priority||normal||Severity||minor||Reproducibility||have not tried|
|Target Version||3.3.2||Fixed in Version||3.3.2|
|Summary||0018806: Main menu doesn't load when using $require_login = 0;|
|Description||When admin authentication is disabled in the config file, no menu contents appear. E.g. set $require_login = 0; in config.php and view pages with missing menus.|
|Tags||No tags attached.|
Using the Dressprow theme, no menus are shown at all so you might want to check with Michiel why the require login option is present and whether it is still valid.
Some pages don't display but show 'Sorry, this page can only be used by super admins'. I guess that nobody uses this option otherwise there would have been issues raised on the forums or mantis.
It seems a bit insane to allow this now.
|Michiel, is this a design bug or is the way it should be?|
The idea of "$require_login = 0" was that authentication would be done with eg Apache Htpasswd files.
Allowing access to phpList without protection would be disastrous. I will remove the option completely.
