Summary0017619: Group writeable files and directories
DescriptionSome web servers, possibly those using su-php, do not allow directly-accessed php files and directories to be group-writeable and generate a error like this

SoftException in Application.cpp:631: Directory "/home/ealiyorg/public_html/lists/admin/help" is writeable by group

On this server I have to manually change the permissions of several directories and several index.php files on each new release.

Looking at the 3.0.12 release all files have permissions similar to this one:

-rw-rw-r-- michiel/michiel 42799 2015-02-03 12:17 phplist-3.0.12/public_html/lists/index.php

Is there any reason for the group writeable permission to be used, and, if not, can it be removed?

No, I can't think of a reason, so I have updated the bash script I use to create a version to change the permissions before zipping.
