|Summary||0017613: subscriber update prefrences page - discussion|
|Description||I have recently noticed that the update preferences page works like this|
1) the subscribe page that the subscriber first used to sign up with is used for the preferences
2) if there is no page or no data (they were added manually) then the default subscribe page is used
However, I felt (and others I spoke to) that this was surprising, we would expect all public lists to show.
Let's discuss it :)
many common uses of phpList include a separation of admins who own their own lists.
each admin has their own subscribers.
in these situations, you do not want all public lists to show up. It would show the lists of admin A to the subscribers of admin B.
there is a system to manage it, which is the subscribe pages. It just needs documenting better. If you want all lists to show, then you need to "offer" all lists on the subscribe page.
