Summary0017010: Bring back the option to give specific admin permissions
DescriptionOn the previous versions we had the option to give each admin specific permissions to features. For example, it's impossible to let admins import subcribers to lists without also giving them the option to "steal" the existing lists.
That's too bad.

I'm not entirely sure I understand. Can you elaborate?

On the past the permissions system worked like this: with option to enable/disable each page for each administrator.

Today the only Privileges are: Manage subscribers, Send campaigns, View statistics, Change settings.

Why the old system was better? It's simply not as simple as that! I, for example, want to keep my existing subcriber e-mail lists private while allowing the admins to import more members. Also, we are unable to allow them to see their own message statistics or editing their own templates.

Is this something that you guys want to fix or is it forgotten? I relly miss the feature.

Does the old perm system work ie can i insert settings in the database to disable export function?

Why was this removed? Too complex?

The old system is unlikely to work. Yes, it was too awkward to manage, and in particular to provide a management interface for.

It is not entirely impossible to bring it back, but there are other priorities.
