Summary0016730: Email send to existing subscribers
DescriptionIf a user who is already subscribed to a list, puts their email address in the form, it will send them an email asking them to confirm their subscription. This will also resend the confirmation email when clicked.

Some mechanism should be put in place to stop a registered user from being able to sign up for the same list again. They do not actually sign up a second time, but they are not given any notice that they are subscribed already.

If a user is subscribed to a list and tried to subscribe again, a notice should be send out saying you are already on this list and provide links for updaing their preferences and subscriptions.
Steps To ReproduceSign up for a list. Confirm. Repeat.
Additional InformationThis would need a new Message & Subject for existing subscribers.

yes, good point. It won't require a new message. It can just return text in the page explaining the situation and then link to the page to "request the personal URL", which is already in the system.
